Green Talents Award 2022: Apply now!

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is once again looking for young researchers who will contribute to the implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. If they are successful in their application to the competition "Green Talents - International Forum for High-Potentials in Sustainable Development", they will be given the opportunity to get to know Germany as a sustainability location - for example during a research stay at the IOER. The application deadline is 24 May.

As a young researcher, you want to contribute to the implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals? And you have always wanted to get to know Germany as a sustainability location? Then apply now for this year’s round of Green Talents Award 2022!

The Green Talents competition held by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research annually honours 25 outstanding young researchers for their pioneering contributions to greater sustainability. The goals is to promote the international exchange of innovative green ideas and to establish long-term collaborations between Germany and other parts of the world.

The award winners are selected by a jury of German experts. The prize also includes a research stay in Germany of up to three months. "We welcome and support applicants who would like to organise their research stay at the IOER", says Marc Wolfram, director of the IOER, and encourages young researchers to apply.
